Stronger for the 20th-century portion than the earlier period, but the focus on popular jewelry means it's pieces you're likely to see today, and more likely to have seen regular people wearing in the period. As with all such books the prices are of course meaningless except for general relative purposes. This whole series makes a handy basic reference for collectors, dealers, stylists, or folks who just want to see what the jewelry of different periods was like.
