Review # 1 was written on 2012-10-03 00:00:00 Zachary Cowley What can I say about a book about Beagles? I won't say a lot. We recently saved a 2 year old Blue Beagle from the shelter, and picked up a couple books to learn a lot more about them. I read this one first. It covers all the bases really well. History, How to Choose a Beagle, Caring, Grooming, Training, Health, Vet Visits, and End of Life. It also has a training DVD in the book as well, which we will watch shortly. As I got it off Amazon for about $4 shipped new instead of $20 MSRP, it's a steal.

Review # 2 was written on 2011-01-03 00:00:00 Len Oram Decent. I wish there were more training tips. The DVD included was very helpful. I was disappointed that the majority of the book was devoted to how to decide if you want a beagle. This is the unfortunate issue with most books of this type. I already have a beagle and want to know the best way to deal with his beagle-ness.
