Review # 1 was written on 2015-02-05 00:00:00 Diane Kornmann Although this book claims to be written by the "world's authority on friendship," I would not want to be friends with the author of this book. Girls Gotta Have Fun does contain some decent advice and creative ideas, but then you'll find these awful gems mixed in: #13 - "If your friend loses her job (or her husband loses his), send a humongous box of beans... Just for fun, wrap the box in plain brown paper and label it "explosives." If she loses her job again, don't do beans a second time." - Beans?! Really? How about a sympathy card? #38 - "Send e-mail. One sentence will do. 'Hey girlfriend. I'm praying for you today.'" - How totally creepy! #69 - "If your friend has bad breath, say, 'Want a mint?' If she says no, say, 'Oh, yes you do!'" - I would punch someone for saying that to me! Unless you're looking for a good laugh, or ways to end a friendship, don't bother with this book.

Review # 2 was written on 2008-08-25 00:00:00 BRIAN CRAWLEY I read this book in a day, but even though it was short, it was really a warm read for me and fun too! It was cute and sincere and will make you think about your best friend when you read it which makes it sweet! Great & full of fun ideas, too. :)
