Review # 1 was written on 2008-06-08 00:00:00 Robert Lawton There's nothing surprising - good or bad - about this handbook. It's clearly written and sprinkled with great photos and illustrations. Handbook lightly covers breed basics - history, selection, feeding, training etcetera. Expect to read more than one inexpensive, introductory text if you want intermediate or advanced knowledge of APBTs - or any other pet. One notable thing I like about this book is its repeated emphasis on responsible APBT ownership - 100% warranted. It doesn't matter what you or I think of (our) Pit Bulls. Most people know nothing about Pit Bulls besides vague, longstanding fear - no thanks to Michael Vick and DMX. If you don't want to help correct APBT misperceptions, don't own one. |
