Review # 1 was written on 2012-03-25 00:00:00 William Crane I read chapters 1 through 4 of this textbook to get a better understanding of the ideas of sociology. From that perspective it was a useful book, but as this is a science book I have to wonder why New York Times columnist Thomas Friedman is quoted. (He is definitely, definitely not a scientist.) |
Review # 2 was written on 2015-06-03 00:00:00 James King One of the best textbooks I've ever had to read! The reading wasn't too heavy or confusing, and included a lot of stories, examples, and discussions about the concepts to help further any understanding. |
