Review # 1 was written on 2008-06-21 00:00:00 Paul Wiersma Fascinating read. Especially for those interested in Pastoralism. Cronk writes in an accessible manner with sometimes a bit of humour. |
Review # 2 was written on 2011-04-22 00:00:00 Mickey Baker Since I'll be doing research in this area of Kenya, this book was particularly relevant to me, and as such I enjoyed it. However, for the uninvolved, it might also be a fairly interesting read, especially if you have an interest in sociology as a science, the methodology and ethics of people studying people, and the transition from hunter/gatherer to more pastoral lifestyles. It's interesting and quick. |
