As the cover art might suggest, this book is a little dated. On the one hand, this offers an interesting view into the debate over what constitutes "professional ethics" and other concerns that were central as this field arose; on the other hand, there are some elements (such as when to break confidentiality in cases of harm/abuse) that show how things have changed. I especially appreciated the final chapters on liberation/justice and power/paradox, and I wish that these concerns had been more integral to the work as a whole.

This was actually published by P and R, something that won't happen today. Some good typology and a clear account of the AD 30-70 transition.
