Review # 1 was written on 2021-02-02 00:00:00 Nick Castruita The conclusion of the book is that the main reason the Americans won their freedom was because of General George Washington's flawless character. 1-Integrity- detailed and down to the penny accounting, 2- Selflessness-did not take a salary. 3-Courageous leadership- in front receiving fire towards himself. This instilled in the troops: recruiting, loyalty, courage, and selflessness.

Review # 2 was written on 2021-01-08 00:00:00 John Powers This book is a short overview of the Revolutionary War. I liked how it gave both British and Patriot perspectives. I think it would be a great read for a student who wanted to understand the war better than a textbook describes it.
