This book really entrigued me. It was an easy read and a very imformative book. I enjoy how it flowed from page to page and never made me feel as if I skipped anything. Its humanitarium topic is cronic depression and a god like complex that led to it. The book is written by the father and it is him retracing his sons childhood to post suicide. In it you learn about his sons depression and how bad it actually gets, and how it affects the people around him. You get to read some of the sons diary entries, poems, and letters he wrote.

Interesting account of his son's mental illness, but he also uses the book as an opportunity to share his views on the nature of mental illness, which are a little different than the standard medical model.
