Review # 1 was written on 2014-02-09 00:00:00 Tash Fjdisl A very interesting book highlighting a series of English poets (with exceptions) who express a distinct tradition in English poetry. Skipped the bits on Emily Brontë, Elizabeth Barret Browning, Hopkins, and Dylan Thomas, not to mention any bits that brought in nonsensical stuff from Lacan or his ilk. |
Review # 2 was written on 2015-07-23 00:00:00 Theodoros Tafoni Read this just to get a more broad summary of his life for the context of his Divine Comedy. The details can get trivial, but still an excellent book: may Dante's legacy live on. |
