Review # 2 was written on 2013-12-20 00:00:00 Henk Bongers This book is the perfect combination of being detailed and interesting. It is informative, but it doesn't just throw all those names and dates at you. It weaves all those things into a good story and brings all those people back into life. The pictures are also amazing! The only downside for me is that it omitted the Norwegian crusade of 1107. Nevertheless, this book is highly recommended for anyone seeking to learn more about this interesting chapter in history!
