for class. there is much false hope among the left for chavez. he's a leftist populist with fiery rhetoric, with authoritarian tendencies that are showing more and more. he's encouraged the poor of venezuela to take shit into their own hands and build neighborhood organization, but he doesn't offer real hope to anti-authoritarians and anarchists.
