Review # 1 was written on 2013-12-19 00:00:00 David Lass This book presents a basic overview of quantitative communication research backed up with lessons on statistical analysis like t-test, chi-square, ANOVA, multiple regression, and the like. The writing is comprehensive and easy to understand, making it suitable for students who want a quick introduction to communication research and statistics. However, I found some computation errors in the lesson about chi-square statistic (p. 128). That aside, I think this book is okay to be used as supplementary reading for your communication research class. |
Review # 2 was written on 2013-06-03 00:00:00 Stephen Bernard Hill Reads like two books in one. The first part is an overview of the impact of info/tech transformations on American political history, while the second focuses on how the Internet was transforming politics in early 21st century America. |
