Review # 1 was written on 2017-01-08 00:00:00 Michael Thornton Imagine an older relative is telling war stories about his time in the ATF and you'll have this book. There's little to no overarching narrative and very few distinctions drawn between facts and opinions (and there are lots of opinions).

Review # 2 was written on 2008-06-22 00:00:00 Montie Thompson I picked up this book because the hero of mine is an ATF agent and I was looking for some characteristics, mannerisms, things that would make him and his mission more realistic. There was some of what I was looking for, but mostly it's a history of the ATF told with a fictional-like dialogue. It's pretty clear who the author does and does not like and/or respect. For research purposes it didn't give me much.
