Overall, a decent (albeit slightly dated) dive into the complexities of converting to a carbon-neutral energy system worldwide without using nuclear energy as part of the portfolio for the transition. Although it is slightly dated, it still provides for a good understanding of why we must transition our energy system away from carbon-based sources to renewables. It also provides a good framework of understanding the limitations and dangers of including nuclear in our future energy portfolio.

Five stars for a well reasoned and revolutionary approach to US energy policy. Worth the read. Not spellbinding but I found it readable.
