Review # 1 was written on 2014-06-20 00:00:00 Max Strickland Coming from someone who has grown up going to Dorney Park and worked at Dorney Park, this books was so much fun. I got to see what the park was and looked like before I started going and got to read the history and how it all began. Great for any Lehigh Valley locals or amusement park lovers.

Review # 2 was written on 2014-02-15 00:00:00 Valentina Barcelloni-corte My Book Club is planning a tour of Grand Central Terminal in October and this book made the list of possible books to read before our meeting.. .. I have to say it was pretty interesting, a relatively quick read and there were lots of pictures... I think it could have bee wayyy better if the author had provided maps or even a map of the city and it's environs for those of us not exactly familiar with every location she was talking about... I understand for security reasons she was loath to provide details of "openings" but a map showing where old ponds and streams etc were in relation to the current city would have helped enormously... Also to have visuals as to where the various bridges are located... Anyway... There were only dribs and drabs of interesting things in my opinion and many of these were provided as "asides"..
