Review # 1 was written on 2019-03-06 00:00:00 Jourdan Feather A pictorial history of the Works Progress Administration Depression-era program in Detroit, including the various incarnations for workers in the arts and public works, this collection gives a wonderful overview of the documented projects and shows the faces of the participants over the years. And invaluable collection that helped me to understand the scope and impact of the program. A good reference for learning about the purpose and accomplishments of the various efforts and a starting point for further research. |
Review # 2 was written on 2017-07-21 00:00:00 Josh Labass This book is more specifically devoted to Miraloma Park and Mt. Davidson areas rather than West of Twin Peaks in general. There are some great photos and nice bits of early history of the area. |
