Review # 1 was written on 2015-06-13 00:00:00 Khashayar Nemati A book filled with vintage postcards/photos of Philadelphia's historic exteriors and interiors. Although the photos were a great filler and asset to the book, I felt the information in them was to the bare minimum. While I do enjoy that things were to the point without ramblings, I think adding more anecdotes would have made this a great reference book (because it would be both informative and amusing).

Review # 2 was written on 2008-08-12 00:00:00 Kainoa Davis One of the best books with which to begin learning more about Philadelphia history. Read this book with Google Streetview open in a browser nearby; you can easily spend hours comparing these detailed, well-labeled images to the present-day city. Highly recommended!
