Review # 1 was written on 2018-08-02 00:00:00 Benedict Lore Leaving home soon, so decided to dig into some local history. Fascinating stuff here, but underwritten and presented without much rhyme or reason - although all the photos certainly add a lot to the historical anecdotes.

Review # 2 was written on 2020-05-11 00:00:00 Ellen Hughes Typical Images of America book. Fascinating historical photos. Interesting captions on the history of SCV. Some of it not well written, but informative and stimulates further historical research.
