Ludwig dives deep into what these icons mean for the philosophical, spiritual, economic, and artistic movements of colonial New England. Some chapters really dig into artistic theories and can be a bit dense if you aren´t familiar with these terms but the information is worth the work.

Review # 2 was written on 2011-08-23 00:00:00 Jacob Flores this book is not to be read like a novel. should have known that. however, it provides an interesting analysis about the evolution of language as an artistic rebellion in the early 60s, sprouting from john cage and allan kaprow.
