Review # 1 was written on 2011-07-31 00:00:00 Michael Dillenberger A very good book for anyone planning on coaching volleyball. It is maybe a bit light on fundamental techniques, but full of great coaching ideas, from warm up drills to building a program.

Review # 2 was written on 2016-11-28 00:00:00 santiago borbon This is the book I received while going through the ASEP training. It covers the usual coaching matters in the first half (which is helpful). The basics on volleyball skills is quite good and covers the serve-pass-set-hit breakdown well. Each skill is followed by two or three mini-games to practice it. I thought these might be too advanced for 4th and 5th graders as I read through, but when I looked at the sample practice plans for a season (nice guideline), I began to think these can really be useful.
