Review # 1 was written on 2012-03-12 00:00:00 Jared Humes Bad title - I would like to decide for myself whether the murder is intriguing - I found it adequately so. The first chapter didn't inspire, but then the book became much better. I really liked the character of the downtrodden and henpecked Alvarez who seems to face adversity wherever he goes. The book is set in Majorca and there were a few interesting facts about the islnd woven into the plot. However I found there were too many Spanish words, of which I could not always guess the meanings. |
Review # 2 was written on 2017-09-14 00:00:00 Brett Morris The story and the location were interesting but I was not particularly intrigued. |
