An adequate book length study of Derek Walcott's Omeros. I wouldn't say that this is the definitive book about Omeros. I haven't read enough of the scholarship to make that judgment. It is a good place, though, to start if you are looking understand the poem, much better than Lance Callahan's In The Shadows of Divine Perfection.

I would have never gained any understanding of Chapters 4 and 5 of Omeros with out it. Epic is a great resource.
