Review # 1 was written on 2019-07-16 00:00:00 George Wojcicki Saved by the author's sparkling prose, I found it a bit tame and not as inspiring as I'd hoped. Best bits are the accounts of the making of his own Shropshire garden. I guess any collection of articles is going to struggle with developed detail. I'm sure the content was a big hit at publication when folk weren't so appreciative of quinces, medlars and dahlias but we are now and have been for a while. |
