Review # 1 was written on 2007-11-02 00:00:00 Vic Cabral so far it's a really interesting reading of Franklin's Autobiography and some other works. It goes into the details of the masks that Franklin wears in the Autobiography and how not everything in the Autobiography is meant to be taken seriously. Good stuff so far... I might actually have to buy a copy (this one's on loan from PASCAL--the coolest library thing ever!) |
Review # 2 was written on 2013-11-08 00:00:00 Partha Ghosh Certainly there is more Benjamin Franklin than the folksy, sloganeering, scientist, and it most certainly points to atheism and a non-dogmatic view of politics, but I think Weinberger's investigations are a beyond-convoluted telling of a simpler tale. |
