Review # 1 was written on 2012-05-06 00:00:00 Joel G Sanchez The Goodreads blurb says: "Reading this kind of writing, however, may not come easily in a culture where poetry is treated as property of a special class. It is this barrier that Bob Perelman seeks to break down in this fascinating and comprehensive account of the language writing movement." I laughed. As if reading this kind of writing would come easily to anyone. Having said that Perelman's book provides a good description and defence of a type of writing that needs both. |
Review # 2 was written on 2014-12-23 00:00:00 Roy Roach Perfect for summer storytime. Elementary age children will like it. Poem about an Australian nocturnal animal is on one side, just the eyes of the animal are on the other side. Open up a fold, and you see the whole animal. |
