Review # 1 was written on 2013-10-01 00:00:00 Kelly Nelson Wonderful illustrations: colourful, full of small little treasures amongst the mazes in the book. The best part of the book (in MY opinion) is the little index/glossary at the end which gives a detailed description of each animal featured in each painting. Not just "Iguana eat plants", the author goes into mating habits, parenting, migration and many more amazing facts. Fantastic book for younger AND older children.

Review # 2 was written on 2018-09-29 00:00:00 Haley Harris I loved this fascinating book! I learned so much. I enjoyed it so much that about half way through I started feeling sorry for myself that it would be finished too soon so I began rationing the last chapters, forcing myself to read some othet book between chapters. Sadly, I did eventually reach the end and will now begin a career of stalking Mr Ordish and searching the internet for any scrap of writing he ever published.
