It covers authors such as William Apess, Frederick Law Olmsted, Lydia Howard Huntley Sigourney, Henry Highland Garnet, Frances Ellen Watkins Harper, Sojourner Truth, George Washington Harris, and James Fenimore Cooper. Again a great book for people who enjoy reading diverse American writing.

Review # 2 was written on 2011-10-01 00:00:00 Clyde Amburn I think this collection is much better than the previous volume. It's a much better grouping of stories.
