Review # 1 was written on 2011-08-04 00:00:00 Brian Roland Read for an MBA class. Decent and informative, but somewhat elementary. I felt that it didn't go deep enough for a graduate level book. Pretty good for basic economics though. I like the way it seems to pepper in some history, but my biggest complaint is how it completely ignores the role of Alexander Hamilton in establishing the early American banking system and the role it played in rooting America's economy. I feel the history is very selective and leaves the background incomplete.
