Review # 1 was written on 2012-01-01 00:00:00 Pamela Holschuh This illustrated history of the United States is masterfully done and I enjoyed reading it (not even for school, just for fun, since it was that interesting!). I learned a lot about many events and people, including Columbus's journey, the Revolutionary War, and the Civil War. This book has both words & written information and maps & pictures, which helps me remember things more. If you are looking for a fun history read or a classroom textbook, this book is for you!

Review # 2 was written on 2014-07-24 00:00:00 GUSTAVO ILLAN I would absolutely recommend this book to students of American History, or even just people with an interest in the subject. It provides a great overview and the use of graphics will be useful in improving retention for visual learners.
