Review # 2 was written on 2016-12-11 00:00:00 Bernard Goodno This is set in 1899 London. Gertrude Melrose and her brother Edward are living in luxury but Edward's gambling mean the family's wealth disappears quickly. Edward is thrown out of the home and Gertrude has to help the family. This one was not as interesting as some others but still an interesting and recommended read.
