Remembering back when I was a kid, I think all children are natural born tricksters. They have dozens of sharks and ways to manage the adults around them. This book confirms that and now makes me more wary around children. I play a lot of pool and some of these tricks are pretty common. But I have been screwed over by different players. The material I've read here makes me much more prepared when I compete with strangers. I'm looking forward to testing out some of the "Responses" for my regular opponents. They are going to be in for a big surprise.

An amazing writer. I can see the legacy of Eckhart and St. Dionysius the Areopagite and yet he has a uniquely sharp mind with mathematics. Always appreciated Aristotle when he fitted appropriately within the Platonic/Neo-Platonic tradition and Cusa does a beautiful job doing so. He is the living connection between Christian mysticism an German Idealism.
