Principles highlighted are clear, concise and interesting, yet seemingly common sensical when one considers them in the grander overall scheme of things with regards to borrowing design from mother nature. A good start point for those interested in basic design and biomimicry.

This AVA series is beautifully produced and this book was filled with inspiring examples of format-based concepts. I felt the fresh excitement of a student exploring a new field, and it's helped motivate me to redouble my creative/professional efforts.
