Review # 1 was written on 2019-10-13 00:00:00 Douglas C. Nelson Weeding my gardening books. This seems a concise and solid reference that is well designed with lots of quality color photos. The main downside for me is upon skimming through, there doesn't seem to be a lot of information on identifying the problem. There's a fairly general two-page spread and a flow chart that offers some ideas, but you'd really have to know what disease, pest or deficiency your plant has for this book to be useful. Even when I knew the issue, I didn't find the content especially helpful. Verdict: I think the content in this book that I would use is covered better in my other books, particularly on specific plants (i.e. roses, irises, etc.). Rehome. |
