Each of these books is about 10 pages, each of which has one picture of one baby. Apparently it’s really common for infants to be fascinated by pictures of faces, and my daughter was no exception. She loved these books. SMILE was the best of them. However, I’m not sure why, when a book only has maybe 50 words, the author can’t keep a steady meter. Or will break it on the very last page!

All 3 of my children's favorite book at the appropriate ages to enjoy this book. I have ordered a lot of baby-face board books over the years because they liked seeing faces, and this one remains the favorite. I think because the kids aren't really doing anything in them (i.e. getting dressed, wearing a hat, clapping, taking a bath, etc) but just really close portraits of their faces.
