Review # 1 was written on 2016-05-06 00:00:00 Kristina Kourounis Was interested to see what today’s youth are being taught. Was quite a difficult read. A book can rarely tell you how it felt to be there, in it. Altogether a factual (from what I know) account, well written. I liked the chapter reviews and quizzes. Hoping they will make kids actually think about this history and how we can all help to make sure similar does not happen in the future. |
Review # 2 was written on 2017-03-06 00:00:00 Wendy Laws It reads like a crime novel in places as people of different ages tried to understand the reasons for certain diseases to appear, where they came from, how they are transmitted, what causes them and how they evolve. Fascinating read. |
