Review # 1 was written on 2016-11-04 00:00:00 Lucas Dawson Besides honing my Spanish skills, this was a nice little play demonstrating the struggles of being raised in a different country from your heritage yet also being rejected by your own family and country. I could somewhat relate to Maria's struggles with her cultural identity. The character development was strong and the relationships between said characters were good as well. However, I'm taking off two stars because of the bad ending and Iris being a whiny stuck up bitch. And yeah the play did have a nice central theme, but it was too...idk, cheesy? Personally not my kind of read.
