Review # 1 was written on 2016-02-27 00:00:00 Elizabeth Koeppel This is my first and last experience with Walter. Not only is he banned from the beach, hes banned from my life for good. The two stars are for the title of the book and a farting dog who farted so hard that he blew an umbrella away. The power in that wind! What you arrive at first is the horrible.. terrible.. eye gouging art. And that's putting it nicely. Picture books are suppose to pull kids in and I think this will make them run in terror. The story was just plain awful and no one punishes a dog for farting. Guess what??? Its a part of life and we all do it.

Review # 2 was written on 2012-08-12 00:00:00 Edward Lewis My grandson and I loved the first two Walter books, so I had to request this when I saw it at the library. The story line almost doesn't matter; it is merely the vehicle for the wonderful full page illustrations. Any of the Walter books would be great for early readers, but they would also be fun for non-readers. The oddest thing may be that there are three authors but only one illustrator.
