Review # 1 was written on 2019-05-04 00:00:00 William Sharp For the nonfiction book i chose Everything You Need to Know About Science. This book explains subjects like numbers and shapes, how the world works, living things, and space. On each page of the book there are real life experiments that the readers can try called "creative corner." Also on each page there are bubbles with a scientist who dealt with that subject of science. The book also has web links on the bottom of the pages so the reader can learn more. The general age range for this book I would say would be intermediate. Its geared more towards middle school aged students because middle school is when they learn the subjects in this book. There are pictures on every single page of this book. The pictures are great. The colors are very bright and vibrant on each page. The shapes are all realistic, as is the texture of the pictures. The pictures are close up and make them feel more stronger. The style of art in this book is representational because all the pictures are literal and realistic depictions. I definitely think this book should be read. It has great facts about the subjects, and if a student needed to study for a test this is a great book for that because there is so much extra help you can get from the web links on the pages as well are the "creative corner" activities they could do as well to help them study for an upcoming test.
