"Literature and the Right to Death," a notable essay indeed. Part of me never wants to forgive Blanchot for his influence on Derrida, but there are some genuinely interesting ideas here. And actual arguments, reasonably stated but with typical French, uh, flair.

A great book, as all by Blanchot are. Essential questioning. As another user has stated, it is worth it for "Literature and the Right to Death" alone. Also contains essential ideas for understanding the thought of Blanchot.
