The book is an excellent interpretation of one of the most imaginative writers of the nineteenth century. Although, in reality there is no didactical connection, it's a fascinating in-depth study; yet at times irritatingly far reaching. I do, however, consider it 'required reading' for every Jules Verne enthusiast, me included, as well as all steampunk devotees. |
