Review # 1 was written on 2019-03-29 00:00:00 Melanie Johnson The book was interesting, but I thought it would be a little longer. I didn’t realize how the book series and the television shows started. It as a good starter book to see if you would like to read the series. |
Review # 2 was written on 2012-09-25 00:00:00 Koko Jent Age p to n. The book is called a "rookie biography" and introduces a young child to the world of Laura Ingalls Wilder. This famous American author is still read by many young girls all over the world. Wilder grew up in a log cabin and was the home she wrote about in all her stories. This biography is simplistic, but yet still compares and contrasts the life of a youngster today to that of a youngster of 150 years ago. The book includes both black and white and colored photographs. This is a perfect book beginners biography that contains basic information but enough to build a lesson plan or do a project. Great book for a class room setting. |
