Review # 1 was written on 2016-12-31 00:00:00 Frank Estes III Lots of neat formulas about hypergeometric functions, but it felt disjointed - like it was a series of papers stapled together. If you read it, I recommend reading the chapters in the order: 1, 2, 3, 5, 9, 4, 6, 7, 10, 8, 11. |
Review # 2 was written on 2018-02-14 00:00:00 Lonzo Cotton this book is ok but schutz's book is better. it does a pretty bad job of introducing tensors, i think. some of the exercises are good but there are too many that are very routine. i only read the first 150 or 200 pages though, so i guess keep that in mind. |
