Strangers Rain Night Wedding Shepard Hangman Prisoner 4. a. People seemed frightened, and Shepherd Fennel was slow to call out, for the third time, the welcoming words, 'Come in!' b. Fennel had already welcomed two strangers to his house that day, and he got to know the second stranger was a hangman who would hang a prisoner the next day, so everybody including him felt frightened. Then, another stranger was coming, so Fennel wondered whether he should welcome the stranger or not. If I were him, I would also feel frightened and very strange. Granted that we didn't hear about the second man, I think it is strange that three strangers come in a night. 5. This book has three stories and every story was very interesting. This book attracted and entertained me very much, but also it was a little difficult because all of three stories were mysterious and unexpected. In the first story, I was very surprised at the relationship of three strangers. It was complicated for me, so I needed a little time to understand, but I could. Then, I felt how ingenious this story and the author were. This book also gave me deep and good impression. Especially, I was impressed with the third story the most. I enjoyed all three stories although they were very old stories.
