Review # 1 was written on 2008-08-03 00:00:00 Edward Melucci this book has left me a little obsessed with the desire to get my children playing outdoors everyday. with a backyard the size of a tennis court, we're planning "secret spaces" upwards, dreaming of treehouses, and three-story forts.(question is, will i let them play in it or want it to myself.) |
Review # 2 was written on 2009-01-13 00:00:00 John Harlow I read this for class. I liked quite a few of the reflections on secret spaces, but a lot were really boring/dense/uninteresting. The introduction was a chore to get through. I knew what she was talking about, but it seemed to be all over the place. And the last story was awful. Really not a good note to end on at all. |
