Review # 1 was written on 2015-07-01 00:00:00 Peter Dowdeswell While Prof. Rahn's book is a good overview of the different practoce areas of engineering geology, the book itself is not great. The text is a little inconsistent, the photos are almost useless, and the treatment is often superficial. I purchased this book for a geologist certification exam, and it was useful, and the writing is quite good. |
Review # 2 was written on 2020-11-11 00:00:00 Brandon Lee An efficiently-written and brief introduction to the sorts of small-scale technologies that will be very useful if civilization collapses and isn't coming back. A sort of boy scout manual for folks who think the end is nigh. |
