I love Dr. Phil and it wasn't always so. I remember when he started with the Oprah show and if I had planned on watching it for whatever reason (I never was an Oprah fan!), I wouldn't watch it if he was going to a part of it. I sensed in him all the negative personality traits that Dembling writes about in this book, but that was forever ago and I will plan my afternoon around his show. Ive been reading his books and came across this one in that process. I liked the fact that the author didn't seem to be a Dr. Phil fan; I really dislike biographies of that nature...and she wasn't a "hater" either. She presents facts, gives both sides and leaves you to make up your own mind. I do wish that McGraw himself had participated in the book, but taking into consideration his controlling personality, I doubt that will ever happen unless he decides to write an autobiography....doubt it!!

Didn't finish. It seemed like a gossip book. I like authorized biographies of facts.
