I don't like college text books that talk down to their readers as if they're in middle school. I also dislike textbooks that exhibit strong biases in the teaching of relatively straightforward factual subject matter. This book commits both of those sins. Someone needs to tell Dean Jiambalvo that just because a business decision increases profits, that does not necessarily make it optimal - or even the right decision! The (good) accountants and managers I know are looking at more variables than that.

Textbook for graduate Managerial Accounting. I liked how the book was laid out and the information was easy to read. Some ways to solve problems were easier and some were more confusing. In companion to this, we had videos to watch and the videos were more helpful than the textbook. Not my favorite textbook for one of my graduate classes.
