Review # 1 was written on 2015-10-05 00:00:00 Birgitta Granberg This is a book every woman will hate to read, but should. Well, if they ever plan on getting married and staying married, that is. As women, we've sort of taken pride on having strong egos and being in control. We've tried so hard not to be like our mothers or grandmothers. We've decided as a female collective to never let men get away with being wrong or making mistakes. This book shows you the reality that this attitude just doesn't work in long term successful relationships. This book has changed my life. Yes, it made me cringe. Yes, I argued back to the pages on more than one occasion. But, when you accept what is being said and start to test it out in your own relationship, you see that the tension and resentment that was once there melts away. It teaches you to embrace your power as a woman, and accept your man for who he is (an alien from another planet). The most important and powerful part of the book is the very last chapter. I read it everyday and it keeps me on track. Try not to peak ahead though. It will spoil the fun.
