'Lost in Music' is a very funny and very entertaining book, firmly located in Nick Hornby territory (unsurprisingly endorsed by Hornby on the cover) - but written very much in Smiths' own style. Whilst any book about pop music is by definition, immediately dated upon publication - clearly the world of pop music has changed unimaginably since 1995, however locked though it is to an era 25+ years ago, 'Lost in Music' still stands the test of time. |
